An ordained minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Jason Bricker-Thompson is director of youth ministries at Kent UCC and associate chaplain at Hiram College.  He works directly with our high school youth fellowship, middle school youth fellowship, and Confirmation class and their families.  Jason emphasizes service learning, a teaching method that prompts theological reflection and promotes neighborly relationships through the shared experience of community service.  Jason is graduated from Hiram College and the Vanderbilt University Divinity School.  His regular days at the church will be Mondays and Sundays.  Jason's wife, Monica, is a graduate student and they are licensed foster parents.
